Leaving our mark on the Southwest
The Southwest region of the United States is a 5 state region with 8 MSAs that have more than one million people. In all, it is home to approximately 45 million residents and 70 Fortune 500 companies. The region essentially has two population and regional hubs, Dallas and Houston, with each city housing over 6 million people and each having grown its population over 25% since 2000. These factors drive demand for quality and well-located industrial real estate throughout the Southwest. GLP’s strategic investment in the region consists of 265 properties totaling 35.0 million square feet across 7 key markets, including class A bulk distribution buildings as well as rail-served assets in critical infill locations.
